Who hasn’t found themselves in the humiliating situation of not being able to find their car in a big parking lot? Happily, the next time that happens, you can rely on your iPhone to immediately locate your vehicle and get on with your day. Before you leave the house, be sure you still have the Maps app installed on your iPhone, then check to see that your phone is connected to CarPlay or Bluetooth while in your car. To ensure you can locate your vehicle, go to the Settings menu, and choose the Maps app. Next, scroll to the bottom of the list to the Your Car heading, and turn on Show Parked Location. The toggle button will be green to confirm that it’s on, and your phone will be all set to show your car’s location any time you park it. When you park your car, the Maps app will drop a parked-car marker so you can easily find your way back. To find your car when it seems lost, open the Maps app on your iPhone.
